Quotes

Martin Luther King, Jr.: "We are not makers of history. We are made by history." We don't make history, but what happens in history helps make who we are.

9/11

On the day of 9/11 of I was in second grade doing my work. All I remember is Mrs. Word saying something over the intercom about a moment of silence and then doing my work for a little bit. After about an hour they let us out of school. I think we always remember 9/11 and will always talk about it on the day that this tragic event happened. I think that the terrorists were upset with America for helping the Iraquies in the war and trying to get rid of Sudam Husain. If I wrote a story about 9/11 it would be from the point of one of the people on the plane and about how I felt when all of this was happening.
