Heaven

In my heaven there would be all of my family and friends. There would be lots of food and houses. Everyone would have what ever they wanted and more. If you wanted something all you would have to do is think of it and it would be there. You had plenty of time to do what you want and at night you could stay up or go to sleep. There is a moon and stars and sun, just like down on Earth. You can even watch people down on Earth from heaven. All the animals you ever had are there too. They have a special house where they can go to sleep or do what they need to. Everything in heaven tastes awesome and you have lots of pretty clothes. Everyone shows their inner beauty. That's what my heaven would be like.

The lovely Bones

The penguin had no one to worry about, but himself. There was nobody around to hurt him or put him down in anyways. It was perfect because he was in there alone and would never have to know of all of the hurt that can come from the outside world.

Susie is trapped in heaven, since she can't go back. I don't think she feels trapped tho. It is perfect because anything she wants is there when she thinks of it, but her family not being there make it so much more not perfect. I think if she had her family and friends there with her then it would be perfect. She died so young and in a terrible way and didn't get to live the rest of her life out making heaven not perfect.

Thy Lips Rot Off by William Shakespeare
You talk to much so we would much rather your lips rot off so that you can't speak anymore.

Quotes

Martin Luther King, Jr.: "We are not makers of history. We are made by history." We don't make history, but what happens in history helps make who we are.

9/11

On the day of 9/11 of I was in second grade doing my work. All I remember is Mrs. Word saying something over the intercom about a moment of silence and then doing my work for a little bit. After about an hour they let us out of school. I think we always remember 9/11 and will always talk about it on the day that this tragic event happened. I think that the terrorists were upset with America for helping the Iraquies in the war and trying to get rid of Sudam Husain. If I wrote a story about 9/11 it would be from the point of one of the people on the plane and about how I felt when all of this was happening.

The Lovely Bones

I think that The Lovely Bones will be a very good book to read. It helps show teenagers that rape does happen and to be careful about who you talk to. I think it sounds very interesting. The author also had this happen to her so the book is based on something that happened to her and she found out that after she was raped that the girl before her was raped and killed. I can't wait to read this book!!!

Why blog?

I think we could use blogging to learn more about the economy right now. And to be able to learn more about each other.
